Edelweiss starts its ski season on Saturday

Saint-Sauveur, Friday November 21st 2008-The automatic and efficient load of snow guns have impressed everyone. During the past week, snow was blown at full capacity. We couldn’t wait for a snow snowstorm to offer our skiers the mountains’ opening. The Chemin des Bois slope will be ready for you, skiers and snowboarders!

Staff of Edelweiss says that as long as the weather keeps giving perfect conditions, snowmaking will go on and give more skiable terrain hour by hour. The official launch of 2008-2009 ski season will take place Saturday November 22nd from 9am to 10 pm. Edelweiss will be the first ski station in the Gatineau area to offer night skiing this year. The station will also be opened on Sunday November 23rd from 9am to 4 pm. However, Edelweiss will be closed on weekdays until further notice.
